At registration, each participant may choose their loyalty to Minnesota or Wisconsin (or you can opt to stay neutral).
The 36 top finishers determine the winner at the end of the race. The top three times are used for both men and women – six times in each distance for both Badgers and Gophers – 18 times per side. The state with the lowest combined time across all distances will be declared the winner at the race and announced at the finish line.
But it’s really not about winning. Run it to have fun with friends and greet neighbors across the water. It’s that simple.
